Hotel
Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop (245 S Franklin St, Chicago, IL 60606)
Our rate is $259/night under Habitat for Humanity block (if you booked a room at market price today, it’s $539/night). Cutoff date for group rate is August 24, 2025.
Meeting
The meeting will be held at Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity’s office at 328 S Jefferson St Ste 610, Chicago. The meeting location is .6 miles (11 min walk) from the hotel. We have reserved extra meeting space indoors and the outdoor roof deck in case the weather is nice.
Air Travel
You can fly into Chicago O’Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW):
- From O’Hare to Hotel – Uber or Cab ($50) or Blue Line El (toward Forest Park) exit at Jackson and walk .4 miles (10 min). The El ride is about an hour, enter at airport.
- From Midway to Hotel – Uber or Cab ($40) or Orange Line El (toward Loop) exit at Quincy and walk .1 mile (4 min). The El ride is about 30 minutes, enter at airport.
Parking
The Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop has parking at $75/night. If you plan to drive, please let us know and we will explore getting cheaper/donated parking.
Fun Stuff
We are planning a 90-minute evening excursion on the Chicago River – Architectural Boat Tour. The hotel is .6 miles (11 minute walk) to The Magnificent Mile, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago Riverwalk.
For those arriving early, the Chicago Cubs play the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:20pm on Sunday, September 14th and/or the Chicago White Sox play the Baltimore Orioles each day Monday to Wednesday.
