Habitat Illinois hosts three events each year to raise funding and visibility for Habitat’s mission in the Chicagoland area: a regional Veterans Build (November 6-7), a black-tie reception through First Look for Charity (February 12, 2027) at the Auto Show, and an annual Habitat Hero Award Dinner (June 17, 2027).

Effective June 30, Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity of Illinois have merged to strengthen support systems, expand statewide reach, and increase access to affordable homeownership opportunities across Illinois.
