2026 Annual Report: Together, We Empower

“Together, We Empower” captures the spirit of our work. It is a recognition that lasting change happens when people come together with a shared purpose. Homebuyers bring determination and hard work. Volunteers bring their time and skills. Donors and corporate partners provide essential resources. Habitat affiliates bring expertise and a commitment to serving their communities.

The result is more than a completed home. It is a family with new possibilities. It is a homeowner building equity and financial security. It is a parent creating a stronger foundation for their children. And it is a community made stronger when more of its residents have the opportunity to thrive.

Habitat affiliates across the Chicagoland region and Greater Illinois are helping families take meaningful steps toward a more secure future—through homeownership, home repairs, and other programs that make it possible for people to be safely and affordably housed. None of this happens alone. It happens because people choose to come together and invest in what is possible.

Thank you for being part of that effort and for helping families like Lizzette’s turn determination into opportunity and dreams into reality.

Together, we empower. Together, we build a better future.
