Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce our 2024 Annual Report is now available! The theme of our 2024 Habitat Hero event was “Building Sustainable Futures.” Because that is what Habitat for Humanity does.
Veterans Build 2024
The annual Veterans Build in Chicagoland will kick-off November 1-2, 2024 with teams of veterans building at seven Habitat for Humanity affiliate build sites!
Homeowner Assistance Fund Home Repair Program (HAFHR)
With funding from The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund Home Repair Program (HAFHR) to allow eligible homeowners the ability to address home health and safety repairs that were delayed and exacerbated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
9th annual Habitat Hero event raises over $1.15 million to build and repair affordable homes
Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity honored Nicor Gas and The Adler Family on June 13th at its ninth annual Habitat Hero Award Dinner, recognizing decades of leadership and commitment working with Habitat in the Chicago area and beyond.
